Water Issues at Newberry

Normally dry Newberry was having water issues on last weekends ride; made for a bit of an adventure...

Yeah, we could have used some flotation devices on some of those crossings.

On the plus side I'm sure my hubs and BB are nice and clean inside. :rolleyes:
Banner had a few spots like that as well this weekend.
Mark, after we got split up, we hit a small lake out at the south end (maybe around "the jack" trail?) that some guys tried riding, they were up to their BB. I took the bush shore line route. :thumbsup:

But yes, there is no shortage of water out there. (should have brought my kayak :D )

ride an old beater singlespeed and don't worry about it...:thumbsup:
Milt, was that you dropping off the log into the water? hehehe, I was the second one over that, and as skinny as that log was, i knew there would be a few slips.

Yes. And IMO I had pretty good form jumping in!

Now, where was the camera when the guy in front of me tried to endo over the log pile??

BTW, did you notice the form that guy had on the mid endo unclip dis-mount? Impressive I must say and now that I think about it, maybe the camera should have been on me,...ER I mean that guy!
