We live in Greenville, SC and I am looking to get my girlfriend a birthday present of a MTB skills clinic / camp. She is beyond a basic rider but could use help with technical downhills and skills such as bunny hopping and wheelies. I searched online for something and couldn't find anything local or in NC.

If anyone knows of anything I would appreciate any information..... if it something we could do together even better!

I will teach her one on one ... Send pics and it may be free

J/k

I would be interested in this for my woman also...
I think the best thing is to just find some advanced women riders for her to ride with as we are not the best teachers on the advanced stuff

This is the first group that came to my mind. I live in Asheville and am not aware of what the local shops may be offering. Many regional groups hold skill events in the spring.

I'll PM you if I hear of something.

Edit: Also check your local REI.

Upstate did two women's clinics... one at Paris Mountain and one at DuPont. Great success-- huge turnout and I learned a lot. Maybe someone could bugger them up to taking the plate again.

Thanks for all the tips.... nice leads to check out! I know she will be super thrilled, she rides great just a few tricks and tips will go along way for her. I am certainly not the best rider or teacher so an expert is needed.

For the 1 on 1 for free... sounds like a good idea here is her picture
