I am looking for a new XC race frame. I am looking for a frame under $800. Both the yeti Arc an Voodoo Sobo have caught my eye. Anyone have any insight? As a follow up for the sobo, I have a 16" frame now with 22.6" top tube which voodoo would be best? 16" or 17"

I've ridden an ARC for a few years and I generally like it. My *guess* is that the Sobo might be a lighter bike (scandium + carbon seatstays), but I don't know.

I noticed that the Sobo's bottom bracket is about half an inch higher than the ARC's. I guess it depends on the terrain that you ride, but I'd prefer a lower BB.

I have the SOBO I turned into a single speed and I love it, it weights 22lbs with heavy winter tires. The frame rides great with the carbon stays.
