I'm visiting Seattle in mid-Sept. for an extended weekend and was wondering what recommendations people have for rides that are within an hour of the city (I'll have a car). I'm also interested in decent places to rent (preferably with Fishers).

I'm a Midwestern XCer who loves smooth, slightly rocky/rooty singletrack, but also likes to climb (not as enthusiastic about the descent). I was looking at Tiger Mountain as there seem several good possibilities between fire roads and single track. Would love a nice ride (10-15 miles) ride with some good views.

because there's a lot of great rides listed here for visitors like yourself. Tiger would definitely be one of the closest rides worth hitting. Also, it'll be easy to hook up with others who'll show you the trail.
