Going to San Jose for a wedding next month and have a free day and obviously want to bike. Any suggestions for a 1 day or 1/2 day trip from San Jose? Any shops or companies that you have used and liked?

if biking near SJ... I like biking In Cartago or the west part of the central Valley (near Ciudad Colon, Escazu or Santa Ana), I have seen a couple of folks related to companies post around so I am sure they will chime in.

If you like single track, I know the best place in the country, only 20 minutes from San Jose.
I can arrange a 1/2 tour.

I had the pleasure if visiting this beautiful country for a week this past March.
The weather was wonderful , but beware , it's the rainy season now in the Central Valley.
