I've been reading this board for a couple of months now. I got the idea that I wanted a 29er and have picked up lots of info here. I have bought an Inbred and will build it up geared over the next few months. While I'm at it, Ill say thanks for all the knowledge ya'll have shared. I do ride off road some but mostly road. I spend more time on Road Bike Review than MBR. Over on RBR, MB1 just posted some pictures of a blinged out Vicious Ruffian that his shop just built. I have not seen this 29er mentioned on ths board before and thought you might like to see it.

It's a Gunnar Ruffian with a Vicious rigid fork. Gunnar makes some nice frames in the $750+ range. Vicious also makes frames - custom - and a little more $. Both companies work exclusively in steel as far as I know.

I had to laugh a little when I saw the pic sinse I was just admiring that bike a few hours ago. One can't tell from the photo, but the frame is a deep purple with many red anodized parts. It's really a nice, if not a bit flashy, package. To the lucky owner, I say enjoy it.
