That bike is hawt! I like the curved seatstays. :cornut:

I've been comtemplating a ti 29er hardtail but the price of admission is so steep. Not saying it's not worth it, I just can't swing it right now. I think I will probably have to ride the frame I got now till it breaks before my wife will let me get a new one.

find more details in the framebuilder forum.
he said he's using a BB30 shell and there's just BARELY enough room for the hydraulic tube around the bb axle! :D
tube enters about 8 inches down from the heatube on the downtube...

he's got skills!

I think the entire frame is filled with hydraulic fluid. It's heavy as a tank, but the brakes are awesome.

LMAO!!
no, it's not, though that WAS asked before.

he welded in tiny bosses, just tapped for the external plumbing, and runs the line between 'em! the bosses themselves were even the subject of their own "S+T friday" thread!
(why am I answering for him!? cause I followed this VERY closely and absorbed every detail I could!) :p

anyone notice the rear brake mount detail?! one bolt to chainstay, the other to seatstay.... beauty!

Is it bad form for me to post in this thread?

Jon, thanks for giving me the opportunity. B.A. was a blast to build and I love seeing the adventures.

byknuts - it's a PF30. It may seem like a small difference but the BB30 shell doesn't utilize a sleeve to protect the bearings and it actually would have been easier to route the tube. The PF30 only has 1/8" of room to work with in a very specific area. I'm flattered than anyone is paying attention.

Just for fun, here's a sneak peek of a frame that'll be in the Cane Creek booth at Interbike showing off the new 110 level headset
