Noticed this crack where the top tube meets the seat tube right round the weld on my 06 Vertex 30. I'm in the process of trying to sort out a warranty with distributor. Anyone any experience of these frames cracking? When RM do warranty the frame can they replace the Vertex 30 like for like as I've heard that they do not produce these frames as frame only?

Is your seatpost inserted below the top tube? It's unusual to see a Vertex break there.

It'll be replaced by a Vertex 30 frame that would have been headed for the assembly shop.
