VERSUS(Commuters)

So, everything is starting to thaw, here in Anchorage, AK. I want to start commuting to work.

I've been window shopping, and I am very interested on the Torker U-District and the Kona Worldbike, very similar bikes. The Kona is 20 bucks more ($380). They are very similar, and both have great reviews, what's your opinion?

There is also BikesDirect, they have several 300-400 Road bikes which look very tempting ie. http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/track.htm I live in Anchorage, AK so I will probably have to pay for shipping.
