We are going to Vernal in May for biking and dinosuar stuff with our boys. Does anybody know of any condo rentals or lodging with kitchens? How about kid friendly camping and activities? Also, what are the don't miss rides?

I dont know about lodging but dont miss Jazz/Chromoly and the Corkscrew is a blast, but only on the downhill half.
Vernal

There are many hotel and motels to choose from in Vernal. Some are new and not so busy now the oil boom has slowed down. I know some have long stay rooms with a small kitchen. Stop at Altitude Cycle when you get to Vernal for trail conditions and good maps. There are many good rides for all skill levels. Maybe we will see you on the trail!
There aren't many vacation type rentals in the area, but most hove the hotels have a kitchenette option. Try the Holiday Inn, its new. Or the Days Inn dinosaur inn. The best western is also clean. Most of the trails should be open, but as always stop in and visit Troy at Altitude Cycle 435.781.2595 for current trail conditions. I would recommend any of the trails in the McCoy flats area. they range for beginner to advanced and are 10 minutes south of town. Hope to see you on the trails. (keep your fingers crossed that the snow melts)
There are vacation cabin rentals up at Flaming George Lodge (45 minutes from Vernal) and there are some good trails up there as well. Do not miss the Flume Trail, Corkscrew, Jazz (the long version clockwise), and for technical stuff Rojo. There is great camping at two state parks, Red Fleet State Park is next to a beautiful reservoir Fishing or swimming) and only a few miles from the Jazz trail head.

enjoy
