No issues with a long mtb fender, but if you’re talking rain fenders on a touring bike, that’s a lot of fender for any rack.
Velocirax with a fender
Just wondering if anyone is using a Velocirax rack while using a fairly rigid front fender on their bike? Something like Fox’s new XL mudguard or a Rapid Racer bolt on mudguard. If you have a picture of a bike on the rack with one of those fenders that would be great.

Just need to figure out tailgate clearance now before I pull the trigger
One one bike I have a longish flexible fender (Manitou) and I'm able to put the rear hoop of the tray between the fender and tire, overlaps ~ an inch, fender is ~6-7" from the back of the reverse arch, so longer than a typical mtb fender.
