I'm visiting Vegas mid-Sept on a business trip and am taking a few days afterward to ride.

Plan on heading out to Moab and Fruita.

I've been to Moab several times and know it OK but have not been to Fruita - where are the good trails?

Also, anywhere around Vegas to ride?

Fruita

18 Roads (Kessel Run for about 1000 runs) you can ride this on your way into Fruita or way out since riding all the trails takes a short amount of time. I usually just hit Zippity, Joes Ridge and keep going down Kessel Run which is a slalom course so no need to break.

Kokopelli (Moore Fun, Horsethief Loop)

Lunch Loops (Free Lunch, Pucker Up, Lemon Squeezer and Holy Cross)

Baycat - cheers for the Fruita trails - will definitely check those out.

Flipinidaho & Silentfoe - I've found St George & Hurricane on Google maps - where are the trails in relation to the towns? Are they in the Dixie Forest north of these places or are there trails easy to find?

The trails in Hurricane (stay in Springdale if you can which is right at the entrance to Zion) to do are Gooseberry, JEM, Little Creek Mesa, etc... Visit Over the Edge Sports in Hurricane for directions (yes, the same OTE Sports that started in Fruita) or a guidebook.

Not as familiar with St. George area trails but there should be some locals that will chime in hopefully...

St. George and Hurricane is a way shorter drive from Vegas than Moab/Fruita...
