Last week I changed the oil in my gf's '04 Vanilla 125 rlc I gave her because I upgraded and the forks on her bike sucked (mz comp). After I put it back together the rebound/compression knobs were stuck. They will not turn at all. I am wondering if there are any common mistakes from reassembly that would cause this. Also, while the forks were mine at some point the lockout stopped working. Whenever I disassembled the forks the instructions said that the hex part the lockout lever goes over would turn and then stop. Mine never stops, it just keeps on turning until the lever will not grip it any more. The threshold knob at the bottom still turns fine but it doesn't change anything. Thanks for the help!

After further investigation I have gotten the compression/lockout fixed. However, when I turn the rebound knob it loosens the top cap from the damper rod. That causes the lockout to stop working if I change the rebound adjustment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
