Valley Green Philadelphia sadly missed

I just came back from a nice long Thanksgiving weekend at my old stomping ground in Philadelphia and realized how much I missed the Valley Green system of trails in the Fairmount Park. I ran a large loop on the trails (to work of some of that turkey meal) and remembered fondly all the hours and miles logged there. We have great stuff here in and around Chattanooga, TN too, but it requires a bit of driving. When I lived in Manayunk or even the Mainline, cruising to Valley Green on the mountain bike was a piece of cake.
I hope the folks there appreciate what they have.
