Vail, CO ... need trail recommendations

Hey guys,

I'm going to Vail next weekend. I pretty much have only one day that I can spend riding.
I'm bringing my girlfriend so I'd like to find some singletrack thats not too technical ... she's not into drop-offs, logs etc. We were there a few years back and found the trails ranged from very easy (smooth fireroads) to very tough so clearly we need some local advice. Someone recommended we try Son of Middle Creek and the North Trail. Do these sound like good options? Also, whats the best place to rent bikes from? (was thinking of using Vail Bike Tech)
