will be in marrietta area at the end of this month for about 5 days and will go riding for about 3 days.were to ride that isnt to far to travel but good long trails?

Blankets Creek is the closest to Marietta. look here for directions, maps, etc: http://www.sorbawoodstock.org/ (about 10 miles of trails there)

If you want a longer ride with more climbing, etc. head about 1.5 hours north to Bear Creek, Bull Mountain, Stanley Gap, etc.

Cartecay Bike Shop in Ellijay, GA (50 minutes north of Marietta, straight into the mountains) will also be a great resourse. Charlie, Mike, Dondy, & Joe know those hills inside and out.

Sorry, but I'll be directing the BURN 24 Challenge that weekend in NC. If you are really up for some serious riding contact Charlie Martin at Cartecay Bikes and ask if there any rides going on the weekend. Let him know what kind of rides you are up for.......and have fun!
