Do they make longer adjusting screws? I moved the caliper to the top hole but now they sit too wide. Where would I find longer screws?

I don't quite understand the ? ,the width of the pads depends on where the cable is clamped on the cable. Maybe go to the Park Tool site or You Tube.

The adjusting screws on the side of the brake body where the brake attaches to the brake mount are for adjusting the spring tension for centering purposes, not adjusting the width/spacing from the rim. The cable sets that. You can also change the position of the washers on the threaded brake studs to adjust clearance a bit on some brake pad sets.

Check the Park Tool site as rangeriderdav suggested: Park Tool Co. » ParkTool Blog » Linear Pull Brake Service (V-brake style)
