I have the tora 302, but my uturn knob seems to be broken. Whenever I try to turn it, it makes these odd clicking sounds and springs back to its original location when I let go. I'm afraid to try turning it too far, since it doesn't seem to be working right. Is something wrong, or is this normal?

No, it's not normal. Something is definitely broken. The spring can be pulled out very easily if you are mechanically inclined.

if its under warranty i suggest you NOT try and fix the fork yourself. bring it to an authorized RS dealer and either get it warrantied or fixed.

It's on a brand new bike, I've not even had a chance to ride it once since I got it a couple days ago and there's been snow. Would the fork itself be under warranty? I bought the bike online.

Contact the online dealer and ask them what you should do,

Well, since it's a brand new bike I'll assume you are not yet famailar with the fork so........I'll ask this.

Are you 100% certain you are talking about the travel adjust (Uturn) knob which is located on the LEFT fork leg (when seated on the bike) and NOT the a floodgate or lockout knob located on the right side leg? If you are certain then something is wrong.
