Anyone up for a little time away from the inlaws? I was thinking about screwing around at Ute Valley for a little while and then doing a loop, but I'm down for anything. I ride light FR and some XXC on a Coiler if that helps with the kind of ridding I'm looking to do!

I would be up for something depending on the park's conditions. Although, unfortunatly, I don't think we're going to have enough warmth to dry things out... Is there a bunch of snow in Ute still?

I drove by palmer today to check cond.'s cause we might hit it tomm., looks ify with still a lot of snow in the trees. Could be decent with some muck or even ice, we rode it before this last storm and it wasn't bad but it was colder so maybe some of the old snow is melting.

I'm riding the crosser so if the trails suck at least I'll get a ride in!!

Suposed to be in the 50's and 60's for the rest of the week up here in Denver, hopfully it will do the same down there. I would be ok just hitting the playground at the top of Ute Valley for a couple hours. It's mostly rock and very few trees, so hopefully it will dry out quicker.

Mabey I ditch riding and go hit the slopes. Just got a new pair of skis :D and only have one day on them :(

I took a ride through palmer, their is snow on everthing but the road.
If it does melt by the weekend it will be super mudy.
Bummer but thanks for the info. I was hoping that we were in the "melted and muddy" phase, but it sounds like we'll be melted and muddy by Saturday. Looks like Palmer park is out.

Ute is better on the top, but the east side in the trees is easily damaged when wet. If you go, please stay off the muddy stuff!

I would love to ride, but I'd be coming down from Denver and it doesn't seem like it will be worth the drive. Unless someone can tell me the trails are good, and this cold I have clears up, I'll be hitting the sk8 park tomorrow.
