Looking to have a 819/Hope ProII build from CRC done, straight spokes, brass nipples, looking @ $400. Had an exact setup like this before, loved them, but also open to other wheels/builds. Anything interesting around the $400 mark? Thanks in advance.

I'd go with double butted spokes (DT-S Competition for example) for better durability.

x2...there is no reason to use strait gauge spokes except to save money...you will not be able to feel a difference in stiffness between a Champion and Competition spoke, but the Competition will build a more durable wheel (and shave a few grams).
