Hi there,

This is probably a really basic question but I couldn't find much using the search tool.

I have some Mavix 823's purchased second hand. I haven't taken the tires off of them yet to see what is inside.

I want to run tubeless and was wondering the best way? I like the idea of Stans, so if I get a puncture it just seals itself.

If I run a UST tire on my UST rim, can I put Stans in it? Or do I need a Stans kit?

Thanks.

The Stan's kit is for converting standard tires to run tubeless. You can use Stan's sealant in SOME UST tires for puncture protection. You don't need the whole kit if you have tubeless rims and tubeless tires. Check with the manufacturer of your tires to see if they have issues with Stan's sealant.

Yes. Although Stan's says that their product is compatible with all UST tires, some people have posted that they have had some issues. Do a search.
