UST tire pressure

So what are people's experiences with various tire pressures in UST tires? Does rolling resistance go down with higher pressures, or is that an artifact of tire/tube friction rather then rubber/trail friction?

I just got new Python UST's and ran them at the recommended 29psi. When I rode the tubed variety, I rode 30 up front and 35 in back (add about 10-15 psi for racing). What might I expect to be the low and high end of pressures I can use? What are other people's experience with all this?

Thanks,

I always run 2bar on the front and 3bar on the rear, I'm about 210lbs with gear.

Rolling resistance does go up with higher pressures but UST tires aren't meant to be used on high pressures anyway.

Just a note just in case, though it may seem obvious, I recommend not straying below the minimum recommended psi. The one time my UST tire came off my UST rim, I was running it below the minimum recommended pressure of 29 psi. I know someone else with a similar experience. Both examples involve Mavic wheels and Hutchinson tires, one with sealant, the other without. That was years ago, in my case, and since then I've had no problems running 30 in the front and 35-40 rear, generally. Others might have better luck with lower pressures, but now I follow the rules. In any case, enjoy!
