I am fixing to get a used XTR rear der and front der. To replace my X.9 rear der and LX front der.

Would XT shifters be ok? How about SRAM Attack 2:1 (just because i love my X.7 shifters)?

How does XTR hold up? These parts have been used and used hard.

XT shifters will work just fine with XTR derailleurs.

I run X9 paddles with my carbon XO rear derailleur so I can't really comment on running SRAM shifters with Shimano derailleurs. However, I thought that SRAM used a different leverage ratio that made them incompatible?

SRAM has a line of 2:1 shifters to work with Shimano stuff
