The trick is no one except the bike's owner knows it's not your bike. And they're out there in broad daylight, maybe you just lost your key? People would be more suspicious if it were the middle of the night.MadCowRider said:
If you saw someone cutting open a door knob of a house or breaking a window to get in a car, it would look pretty odd. It was pretty obvious something was going on but most people probably think, "Not my concern."Dwight Moody said:And they're out there in broad daylight, maybe you just lost your key?
Replacing a window or a door knob is a much bigger pain than buying a new cheap bike lock. Even then, if I saw someone trying to jimmy their front door open, I would guess it was the owner, because if they were breaking in, they'd go around back, right?pinguwin said:If you saw someone cutting open a door knob of a house or breaking a window to get in a car, it would look pretty odd.
