what do you look out for in a used urban bike? seems like they'd get a lot of abuse?SHIVER ME TIMBERS said:for 300 to 500 you could get a good used urban bike
so what can I expect a decent urban bike to weigh?RobsterCraw said:Under 30# urban bike is a bit of a stretch. A lot of people sell their bikes because they never use them. Not because they used them too much.
don't want SS for this bike. I wanna be able to jump onto trail and such, but want a cheap hopping/manualing/wheelie/pump track bike.zerossix said:giant stp SS
750 for an amazing frame and a real good platform to start around, lots of room for upgrades and stuff.

$750's more than I wanna drop for it.
by the way, did Giant drop the lower and mid-level stp's? looks like it's a high end or ss. I've read good stuff (and lots of dissing too) about the stp.
You could probably hope for somehwere in between 30-35 depending on the frame beefiness and component speccapt pearl said:so what can I expect a decent urban bike to weigh?
