a few days ago i posted about replacing my x4 front shifter.

i want to upgrade my components so i might as well start with the pair of shifters. i want to buy the x7 black set.

my question is, since the x4 is 8 speed, & the x7 is 9spd. what else do i need to change to do this upgrade?

my guess is the rear cassette and a new chain?

am i right?
what else do i need.

Thats it. Some adjustments to the rear derailleur once all put together and your set.
