Here is a question...Is it possible to swap a RST gila fork on a GT Avalanche 2 with a new Rock SHOX Tora 302?? I would be grateful if someone can advise, I have an opportunity to grab the tora at a good price,,,Thanx

make sure the new fork has the proper brake mounts for the type you are using. Like if you have rim brakes the new fork should have mounts for rim brakes. Some of the newer forks are disc mounts only. If your using discs be aware there are 2 types of fork mounts. IS and post. The wrong mounts may require an adapter.

Thanks guys for your help. The RST hasn't been a bad fork, but I'm hitting the tracks with a lot more technical bits and doing a couple of 50k enduro rides. An upgraded fork surely will make these rides less tiring!!
