Upgrade Trek Liquid frame to Jamis Dakar XLT 3?

Found a great deal on Jamis Dakar XLT frames, 04's were $500 and 05's were $600 with the Fox Talas RL/RLC rear shock. I currently have a Trek Liquid 10 that seems alright, thought I could swap out components to the Jamis frame. Would the Jamis frame be much of an upgrade over the Liquid or would I be wasting my money? Any differences in performance of the frames?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, somewhat new to full suspension bikes.
