Hi,

I finally found a 2007 Cannondale 29er with the ball bearing finish !!!! The bike already has some upgrades (rims, handlebars, seatpost, seat, pedals) and looking to shave some weight.

Looking to upgrade the following for short term and dont want to break the bank.

- Lefty Speed to Lefty Carbon fiber
- FSA Cranks to Truvativ Noir MTB 3.3 Team or Cannondale SI Carbon Crankset BB30

Are there any compatibility issues with any of the 29er carbon forks or crank arms with my frame ?

Upgrading to a carbon Lefty shouldn't be a problem. The BB30 crankset will be a problem. Don't think BB30 was available on the F29 in 2007.

find a light wheelset : best upgrade ever ...

for the SI crank : not a problem... what are you writing , jdinsj ?

buy a THM or ZIPP cups and it works , removing black preload nut on left arm.

thanks for the info - got a industry nine front rim on a mavic and will be getting a rear setup soon.

Mind if you could direct me to the thm/zip cups ? There are a couple different versions out there.

The BB cups used by Fifteen G cranks are 30mm bearings and are cheaper and found more readily.
