I have posted a few pics of my bike in various stages. This is it for a while (except for maybe new custom stickers).

Changes since last pics posted:
Thomson stem
DHX shock
Raceface turbine cranks
WTB shadow V ti saddle
Kenda Karisma tires

Foe-toes

Final weight still 33lbs. For a 240lb rider thats not bad. Ill probably wreck the saddle, but i just wrecked my other steel railed WTB speedV and this was what i had in my spare box....

Future updates are fork and wheels. I need to decide if ill be getting a 20mm fork again (pike maybe) or switch to one of the other standard forks....

Nice ride! Big-ups big man.

Mine's at 33lbs too. That's with a Z1QR20 and EX823/CK wheels. I'd like to keep the 20mm thru for the obvious reasons.

BTW I'm on my 3rd WTB saddle. Each of the first two bent in mere weeks. I'll be lowering my seat, and working on keeping my arse off it on the harder decents.
nice bro...very nice!!! I was also thinking of changing my WTB Rocket V Stealth saddle for a Selle Itallia...trying to find the best bargains online!

Can't wait to see what the bike will look like with the Red decals.

My last saddle bent becuase i was doing somthing real stupid. By my work theres a field and a gravel road. Between the 2 is a ditch. In the past i've jumped over this ditch at a high point. Maybe 3' down 4' out... Well the first day on my spot i though i could jump it. Well, i didnt carry enough speed, and instead of stopping i went for it. Everything would have been fine, just a bit of a case, but my foot slipped off the pedal......well all my weight went straight onto the saddle and curled it up like a pringle.......i wont be doing that jump again unclipped!!
I bent my Laser V Ti in Moab, but then again I crashed hard enough to pull the entire shell off the rails. I was able to bend it back and pop the shell back on the rails and still ride it. I have many hundreds of hours on the 3 WTBs I own. Great saddles imo.
Great looking bike.

Hey Acadian. I've got a Selle Italia saddle. They're very good but if you're going to do a lot of rough riding they are a bit vulnerable. Mine smashed into a rockface and popped off one end of the rail (smashing into big rocks tends to do that).

Having said that it's a very comfortable saddle, looks good and is light. After breaking mine I just went out and bought the same one again. Also because of the saddle shape it hooks comfortably over your shoulder when carrying.

in a similar scenario, I also broke a flite saddle like that last year. Crashed and popped the rails out :(

After hearing all the great reviews about the WTB Saddles I decided to give it a try, but on long rides my buttock starts disagreeing with it ;)

I like the shape, ow profile and simplicity of the Selle Italia...those and SDG satellite's

so , why cant I edit my first post?? There is no icon to edit it..... but i could edit this one>>> weird..

anyways heres my edit: found that camera......

comments? Likes/Dislikes? Excuse the glare... strangley its been sunny for months here in seattle.....i shoulda picked a different angle or some shade, but oh well.

I may pay a real sticker shop to do a white outlined set to match the Speed Metal Dh sticker by the headtube. Thats a 2 color screen from www.stickerguy.com that our team made last year. In full frame size they get real spendy, but the smaller stickers are pretty cheap.....

ok... done posting pics.......

How do you like the Shadow seat? I am thinking about ordering one but can't find any reviews on it. I have been using a Selle Italia SLR for over a year and no longer find it comfortable. Does the shadow have a decent amount of padding or is it rock hard? Thanks.
