well that was a waste. only excitement was the blood dumped on the mat by edwards. that boy bled like a stuck pig.

im glad tito won but they should have let it go longer for sure.

both tim and andre fought like sh!t. the heavy weight class has gone down the tubes. or maybe its been there and im just now realizing it.

best part to me was hearing liddell will be fighting 2 more fights pretty soon. im pretty sure he can handle babalu. and if he wins over babalu he will be fighting wanderlei silva. that will be one to see for sure.

Andre didnt fight like he wanted it but Silva fought terrible too. Hes going to get his ass kicked by Fedor. Liddell -Wanderlei will be a good fight for sure.

Chuck fighting Wandy is the biggest thing to happen in years.
Wandy just made it to the Semi finals of the open weight grand prix. He fights on September 10th. The winner of the grand prix fights Fedor.

Seems the most hyped fights end up being the biggest disappointments. The best thing about the whole show was that Rogan was gone. Everything Coture said was of course right on. Did anyone notice that there were a few moments where it was silent? I liked that because you could hear the corner guys yelling instructions. Rogan thinks his job is to fill every damn second with commentary. Since I'm whining, SHOW THE RING GIRLS!!! It's pay per view, you won't get in trouble!

man what a waste of a night, ended up driving to my friends house to watch the fight after an 8 hour ride.. i caught everything but the first fight and from the looks of it i missed the best fight. the sylvia/andre fight was very disappointing, the thing that made my night was the liddell/ silva fight announcement

the title fight was bs, neither fighter put together any decent combinations. Seemed like both were just too afraid of getting rocked. I think the Tito fight was called early but he would have given him a beat down regardless. The UFC doesn't have a big enough talent pool. Even the fighters winning the ultimate fighter aren't that great. I mean look at joe stevenson, he had to lose two fights and then drop down a weight class and he still almost lost the fight to edwards. Frank Mir is a phat fauk, he looked gassed way too soon.

I was at a wedding and didn't get to see the fights. By what everyone is saying, I'm kinda glad I didn't watch them. I will see Chuck Liddell and Matt Hughes this weekend at XFS "First Strike" as they will be in fighters corners. I'm gonna try to meet both of them at the gym this week as they will be working out at the fight training facilities there. I've got an inside to some of the UFC fighters whenever they come to town and have gotten to meet a few of them. Most of them are pretty awesome people to talk with. Even had the opportunity to spar with some of them a bit which is tough work. Even though I used to box, the training these guys have is incredible. Liddell and Wanderlei will be an awesome fight though.
