One year after showing the new Burner with 27.5" wheels, Dave Turner returns to Bike PressCamp in Deer Valley, UT to show us the all new Flux with 27.5" wheels and 120mm of travel. Dave explains how this new bike fits into his bike line-up and who the ideal rider is for this bike.
The new Flux features a first for Turner, a bent top tube. The tube is not hydroformed, it is cold formed into the new shape. The BB height is 12.8" with a 120mm fork and the rear provides enough clearance for a 2.3" tire. The Flux has a 68 degree head angle and a 73 degree seat angle for climbing efficiency. Out back, the Flux has a 142x12 thru axle to provide lateral rigidity and post mount brakes. Up front, the head tube is 44mm which is tapered fork compatible.

Available starting July, the new Flux will be available in Raw finish, Ano Blue and Ano Black (the Blue and Black have laser etched graphics for durability.)
Available with Fox Evo (non-Kashima) or Fox Float CTD rear shock with boost valve and Kashima coat.
Pricing is the same as the Burner and Sultan, which means $2195 for frame and Fox CTD Evolution rear shock.
Turner is in production now with the Flux, so when Dave says they are shipping in July, they really will be available at that time.
Available in 4 sizes (SM, MD, LG, XL)
Lastly, in the video above, Dave talks about how Dave Weagle works and how they came about with the design of this new bike. Being the first 27.5" wheeled bike for Turner brought about new challenges including how kinematics relates to a larger (or smaller, depending on your perspective) wheel.
