One heading back down to Beverly

I'm not familiar with the trail names, but if you enter from Beverly Blvd, ride up the fireroad, make a right at the T. Head towards the gate and immediate right, it's that one. There used to be a jump right at the beginning of the ST next to the fence.

i knew it was going to be a matter of time before something was going to be done about the trail that was cut stright thru the switchbacks, but going thru there with a bull dozer would be pretty drastic, i'll have to go there, check things out then report things here.

So yeah it got bulldozed. Went there tonight. Saw a downhiller coming up rattlesnake right when I got there and he was semi-pissed about it but said that they probably did that because of the ruts that were there.

and some more pics from tonight: http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forums/album_cat.php?cat_id=8

I didn't actually go down rattlesnake because of limited sunlight - wanted to check out and ride 7th street with my remaining sunlight.

it knew it was coming soon...

they have been slowly bulldozing parts of the trail system here.

i don't think they will touch 7th, but you never know.

i will be out there early tomorrow am and i will be doing a VERY long ride there (last ride before I got out of town for 3 weeks and no bike!!!).

i'll write back here with what i see.

oh, and i will also try to sabotage the dozer!!!
