Tunning Tips for older Sid

I kinda stumbled on to this Rockshox sid, i think it is an older one like and '03 or '04 and i am trying to get it to work for me. I have the weight chart on one of the legs. I am working on getting it a little more plush and using a little more of its travel rather than just the first two and a half inches with out inducing some huge sag? I know that the sid is designed to be a super stiff fork but it really seems like it is not living up to its potential. Also is there supposed to be any sag in a SID?
