I have successfully run tubless for 10 months now, using both rim strips and tape/valve stem on standard and stans rims.

I have recently had some trouble inflating an IRC Mythos II tire on a Mavic XC 717 disc rim with a standard rim strip.

I have got it inflated fine but it looses about 10psi overnight.

I have never used a soap and water solution for tueless. Will this help now?

How can I make it seal without seeping?

don't know - heard the soap/water might help but i'm giving up on my bontrager mustang rims, tried a new strip and valve on the rear wheel, but still loses some poundage. going back to tubes, which isn't too big a deal, the mustangs can go tubeless or standard set-up

A 5 psi/day leak can be detected in a dunk test, try and determine where it's leaking from. Soap and water will help seat the bead but i prefer Armour All or something similar.
