Is the 562 with or without sealant? Also, what type of sealant are you using?babar said:I used the 1st series of Python TR prototyre 1 year ago with success.
Now I have a Python TR on the rear which weight 562g  if you add 60g of sealant you have a very competitive set with great puncture resistance.
I'm curious as to why you didn't use Bontrager's Super Juice product and went with Stan's?40hills said:I have a set of the Bontrager Revolt Super X tubeless ready and they have worked great for me. I use them only for racing. They each weigh about 540g and I use about 1.5 scoops of Stan's in each... probably more than enough. They sealed up immediately and never leaked down that I can recall. Overall I like them a lot and will be looking to buy more tires like this for all-around riding... maybe the Jones XR or ACX.
I used Stan's because that's what I had. The tires actually came with a new set of Race X Lite wheels that I bought from someone on the mtbr classifieds. I happened to already have a jug of Stan's sealant that I used in some standard tires. I would certainly consider trying the Superjuice, but haven't had the need yet. Also, the Bontrager stuff can only be purchased from a Trek/Bontrager LBS which is a bunch of horsesh!t if you asked me. Most of them have no inventory of TR tires and I certainly wouldn't expect them to have Superjuice. On the other hand, I can walk into other LBS's and pick up a jug of Stan's... so most likely that's what I'll buy again.LyncStar said:I'm curious as to why you didn't use Bontrager's Super Juice product and went with Stan's?
Thanks for the great info. After polling every LBS in the Denver Metro Area, and finding no one that had the TLRs in stock, I had to order them (along with the juice). With any luck I'll get them b/f the weekend!!40hills said:I used Stan's because that's what I had.
