Hi, for my front tyre, im currently using a tube that came from a 2.2 width tyre, and im wondering if it would expand up to the size for a 2.4 wide tyre? Thanks

Check the tube, it should indicate what tire widths it is rated for. Even if it is not rated for 2.4”, you can still use it, but the material may be stretched thin.

You'll have no problems.
I've used a 26" tube for a 29" tire and 700 road tire tubes for 2.7 x 29 tires without any difficulties.
They stretch fine.
