Cheezy....I remember reading a thread a long time ago about your RV renting experience in the West. Can you point me to that thread (can't find it in a search) or give me the RV rental info please. thanks man! FYI, I posted this here instead of a PM in case anyone else may be interested in the same info.

Bob had the right idea. The server which stored the pics got pulled (thanks to all the wankers posting porn to that mtbr server  ). Anyway, we used Adventure Touring. Their winter rates were excellent. We used a 22' RV and got it for a grand total of $58 per day when we rented it for about 2 months. Fun stuff.

The bike rack they offer is freaking terrible. We just parked the bikes inside which worked pretty well and then locked them up outside at night if we wanted more space. An incredibly convenient way to travel in the west when the weather is a bit cool for comfortable camping.

Sportsworks

I've got a 26' Winnebago, and use the Sportsworks hitch-mounted rack--it's great. I've got the extensions so that it carries 4 bikes with the wheels on, and it can even handle pretty large tires. It's a good general purpose rack that can move between vehicles (although it's heavy), and works really well on the RV.
