My LBS is bugging me. I live in a big city and have lots of bike shops within 10 miles but I have 2 within say 2 miles. One is awesome and the other is so so but carries Specialized (the brand of bike I own) So I went into the Spec shop BC I needed a Spec Part. During my exchange with them they told me the tires I have have too thin of sidewall and I need some nevegals (didn't ask about tires) Truvativ came up and I said True-Vä-Tiv (short a) the guy had some other way to say it that sounded more french I guess. I was asking about some Roval wheels. I said Row-Vul, guy says you mean rah-val. Just trying to figure out if I'm the yokel or if these guys like french too much.
Maybe life is too short to get worked up about it.

It's their way of establishing control, you could pronounce it their way and they'd add a slight lisp just to keep you on your toes.

Think of the word 'innovative'. Now replace 'inno' with 'true'.

That's how I've always heard it pronounced. (like HighDell said)
