I changed my BB out after bearings got notchy feeling and now the crank arm extractor bolt keeps loosening while riding. Is it ok to put loctite on it? Was wondering if maybe I'm not tightening it enough. I did this without a torque wrench. I tightened it up till I felt a little drag when I spun the cranks. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had a similar problem. I tightened...over-tightened...added loctite. Nothing did it.
It might have been my fault because the first time I didn't torque properly and then it got worn out.
I ended up getting a Shimano. Super reliable design and silky smooth. The SLX is only about $120...

Not what I wanted to hear but believable. I looked at the SLX and XT but all I needed was a BB and $36 beat the others out. I hope I didn't waste the $36.00

Competitive Cyclist had the 2011 Stylo 3.3's on sale for $55 last week...

I have a set from 2009 that have been awesome. I make sure to torque them properly every time after hearing stories of problems if at all loose.
