Looking for some advice on topper windoors. I'm tempted to get vented windoors (for the few times I might camp in the bed), but I am not sure if they are a good investment. I worry about problems a couple years down the road. I'm planning on getting an ARE for a F150.

Any suggestions/input is appreciated.

I considered the vented windows, but my Leer dealer advised against them, as they are prone to leaking. I took his advice. I sleep in the back of mine on the regular. I’ve never had a problem. If I did, I’d make some removable screens. It would be an easy solution.

You mean sliding windows that also have a screen? I had those in my old 1986 Toyota. Pretty sure it was a Leer cap. By the time I sold it in 2004, the windows were the only part that DIDN’T leak.

Never had a problem with my sliding windows. Used them for 14 years.
