The bolt (left side crank arm) keeps coming loose which creates slop in the pedal rotation.

I've tightened it up a few times to no avail.

Would you recommend using a blue loctite on the bolt?

The bolt looks like it was covered in grease as it enters the spline..........

Ideas?

1) Remove the crankarm..

2) Remove the self-extracting bolt..
You'll need a 10mm hex wrench to take the extraction plate off the crankarm..

3) Clean-up the grease off the bolt and inside the threaded part of the spindle..

4) Put a little bit of grease on the splines of the spindle (not in the spindle)..

5) Put BLUE loctite on bolt according to the directions on the container..

6) Put bolt back in the crankarm and install the extraction plate..

7) Install the crankarm and torque to 360 to 420 inch-pounds..

That's EXACTLY what mine looks like.

Blue loctite it is...........I hope I didn't do any damage riding it a few miles with it loose.
