I was just wondering if anyone has ridden the Remedy 6 or 06 Cake 2 DLX?? I know the remedy is a new lineup for Trek and was wondering if anyone has any reviews on it? Im in the market for a new full suspension and these are the 2 that Im most interested in for the price. I do realize that one is an all mountain bike and one more of an xc but just wondering if anyone has ridden the two and what they thought. I do like to go big thats why the remedy has struck my interest, mainly curious on how the 06 Cake 2 DLX handles the bigger hits. well any info will be appreciated, thanks

cakes arent even close to being as durable as the liquids or remedy's.
if you're looking for a a good hit bike, but something a little on the light side, the remedy, in my eyes, the cake DLX's are over built trail bikes, not make for the rugged trail or drop, id go remedy if your looking to beat the bike up, or the fat possum, which is comparable to the remedy

Remedy

I havent seen any Remedies in person yet, I'm not sure there in stores yet. I did read a test in a Brit rag and they loved it. I like the Remedy pivot location better than the cake, less (peddal feedback). The BB hight and angles don't look good on the cake and all the reading I've done on that bike say it feels like it has less travel than advertised.
