Hey Everyone, somewhat new to mountain biking and looking for first full suspension bike.

I am looking for something under $1000 and the two bikes I really like so far are Specialized Stumpjumper FSR and Trek Fuel EX Series (7 or 8).

I am having trouble finding smalls but I did find a small (15.5) used 2008 Trek EX 7 (really good condition). What would you all say this would be worth as its currently listed for $1000?

Any other info on this bike or suggestions in general are welcome. Thanks for help.

I had it. Its a great frame.

I am 5'6". I rode a 15.5" and had to use a 90mm stem min to fit. To use a 50-70mm stem, I upgraded to a 17.5" Remedy. Climbs better too.

More trail than AM. Be aware, previous to 2008, no ABP. then head tube standard also switches from 1.125 to tapered around 2009-10. The travel starts at 130F120R, goes down to 120F/R, then its up again for 2013 to 130 front and back. Between 2008 and 2013, the head angle slackens from 69.5 to 68.

I now ride a Remedy for little weight penalty. I like it, wish I had a 67 HA like the 2012's.
