I'm transforming one of my SSs into something like Travis Brown's Trek SS (mine is a much cheaper version, trust me.) If anyone knows--Are those just just road bike brake levers on that moustache handlebar? I can't really tell from ant of the pictures I have. Thanks

They are probably Dia Compe 287V levers. They are road levers that work with V's and mech discs.

Here's an even better link. Almost $20 less than that other link.

Thanks!

:D OK, I'll post a picture when it's complete
You can those bars from any shop that orders from the QBP catalog.

If you want fit and position advice, give Rivendell a call and the folks there can advise you on stem and all that stuff. They are the ones responsible for the modern iteration of the moustache bars, which has been around for decades.

Talk to them, or others who have run that bar, before you cut your fork steerer incase you need it longer than you thought.

I run my moustache bars a little higher than my regular handlebars, about 1.5 inches taller.

From that photo, it looks like Travis is running a travel agent on his vee brakes, but the Tektro levers should do the job without the travel agent.
Not 287s.

Right you are. I've seen component descriptions of his 9.8 that list the travel agents w/ XTR vees.
