Yes I do. Simply buy a slick tire from performance. I bought two for like 10$$$ each. I also have the trainer you mentioned. It works great for what I want to do. I do 50% spinning sessions and 50% intervals. Strength will come as you get on the road or trail. Everybody has their own way of using a trainer so do what works for you and your schedule.

No, I don't change tires for a training session. I use my road bike. If you don't want to have to change tires then get on ebay and buy a cheap rear wheel and keep the slick on it full time. There was a time when I changed tires for a trainer session. It gets old really quick.
