Transplant looking for direction

Hey all Im new to Springs but not to riding. Any local races? Recomendations on places to ride?

Been riding out old stage road to Cripple Creek as a training ride if anyones interested.

Welcome to town. You should be able turn up several posts if you do a search - some with route information.

There really isn't much riding around here, and most of it isn't worth the trouble. ;)

That said, the main riding spots in and around town are Palmer Park, Ute Valley, Cheyenne Canyon, Red Rocks, a wee section of Garden of the Gods and coming some time in '06 Cheyenne Mountain State Park. The Falcon guide is a good reference, and eventually you'll figure out how to make loops out of most of the individual rides.

After you are done exploring around here, Monument (up north) has a couple of rides, the Indian Creek trails near Sedalia, and the resevoir down in Pueblo are worth checking out.

You'll have variable trail conditions this time of year regardless of where you go.
