The TR11 is the newest addition to the Transition family. With its full carbon fiber construction and Giddy Up linkage, it supplants the aluminum TR500 as the brand's top end downhill bike.

Transition TR11

Say goodbye to adjustable rear travel. This bike is purpose built to win World Cup races.​

Unlike its alloy sibling, the TR11 does not have adjustable rear travel (180/203) or wheel sizes (26/27.5). Instead, this carbon race bike is optimized around 27.5 wheels and 195mm of rear travel.

Transition TR11 2017 Geometry

The TR11 is significantly longer than its alloy sibling.​

In addition to new frame materials and suspension, the TR11 has revised geometry. The reach is roughly 40mm longer across all sizes and the BB drop is significantly lower. The head angle remains unchanged at 63 degrees.

Tahnee Seagrave Transition

Tahnee Seagrave won her first World Cup riding a prototype TR11 earlier this year.​

Like the TR500, the frame will be available in four sizes (S, M, L, XL). The frame weight, including shock, frame protection, and hardware, is claimed to be 9 pounds. Two build kits are available. The SRAM GX version starts at $5299. A SRAM X01 version is also available for $7299. And if you prefer to build up your own bike, frame and shock will run for $3199.
