Yo weird terry,
How does that Roco perform on the DB. I almost got that shock when I purchase the frame, but went with the DHXA. Is there noticeable bob when trail riding? I assume you trail ride b/c of the dual ring set up. I do plan on picking up the TST version for this upcoming season. Nice bike BTW:thumbsup:

The only time I really notice any bobbing is when you're trying to hammer up a climb out of the saddle like some fool on an xc bike. If you stay seated and climb in an easy gear(like me...) I don't notice much bobbing. On the otherhand, once you've got the bike pointed downhill. the Roco performs like no other. Absolutely the smoothest, most supple ride. I couldn't be happier.

Thanks... I really think i am gonna get one. I love the way the Air performs for the most part of what I do, and i really want the Roco for exactly what you stated "Absolutely the smnoothest, most supple ride" - On the Downhill runs!:D

Ok....mine will be the oldest in this thread so far...It's an 04 with the 5"-6" plates, running it in 5" mode and love it. My plan is to get new forks for it...maybe a lyric and hope stem...and then get a covert after that....

This pic is a little old...but most parts are the same, just add a LRP chain guid and a new seatpost:

Maybe I will take new pictures tonight.....

Here is a new pic...still dirty from the weekend:

with:

RF Diabolus bar, stem and seatpost, FSA Pig headset, Saint cranks with E13 SRS (38t Guidering), Wellgo B-67 flats, 8 speed X.7 pod and der., WTB Speed V saddle, Hayes HFX 9s with 8" rotors, Azonic Outlaw wheels with Kenda heavy duty tubes and 2.5 Kenda Tomac Nevegals (DH casing, I freakin' hate fixing flats). Oh, and '04 Jr T that is now gracing it's third frame (along with the Wellgo B-67s and the Diabolus stem). If something would go wrong with it I'd replace it, but the damn thing is like the energizer bunny.

First parking lot test ride impressions: holy #$(&, is this thing night and day to the Yakuza Kumicho it's replacing. It's 45.5 pounds, a pound and a half lighter than the yak, but feels a world different due to it's snappy handling. I can't wait to treat this bike to Blackrock next weekend for a break-in rip. Oh, it's on!

Do you weigh it before and after the DHX-A, or is that the only rear shock you've had with it? just curious..

Just picked up my 07 this morning. Snapped a quick pict at the office, the photo doesnt do the blue justice, it looks amazing in person. The redesign looks great. good fit and finish, welds look great, everything is straight, looks like its gonna be another winner in the Dirtbag lineage. More pics to come tonight when I get it built up.
