I'm in the process of having the bearings on my Trance replaced. Last week I ordered a set of new bearing from Enduro and I have asked my LBS to order in the bushings.

I've just spoken to the shop and apparently you can only get the bushing as part of a 'kit' that contains bushings, bolts, bearing and everything else needed to do the job.

Now my question is:

Am I better using the Enduro bearings or the ones from Giant?

I doubt that either set of bearing is any better than the other. Just open them up when brand new, clean out the grease that comes in them and put in good quality bearing grease. That will help them last longer. The bearing that came in my wifes trance had almost no grease in them at all!

My LBS is fitting the new Giant bearings tomorrow. Apparently ALL the bearings are mashed. I think I'm going to check my bearing more often once they have been replaced. If only I knew what to look for
